GOVERNOR’S MONTHLY LETTER AUGUST 2026 A Smart Way to Learn Project Providing Technology-based Resources By: TLP Jan Cabugawan In line with Rotary International’s focus on Basic Education and Literacy, the Rotary Club of New Manila East launched the “A Smart Way to Learn” project at Pugad Lawin High School, donating four of the requested eight 45-inch Smart TVs. By providing technology-based resources, this initiative advances the school's digitalization goals, enriching classroom instruction and cultivating an interactive learning environment. The Smart TVs empower educators to incorporate interactive activities, educational videos, and multimedia presentations into their daily lessons. This initiative is anticipated to positively impact approximately 360 to 400 students and benefit over 10 teachers, significantly enhancing student engagement and digital literacy. President Jan Cabugawan and Vice President Marlon Manaol shared inspiring, heartfelt messages highlighting the transformative power of education. The event’s significance was further underscored by the presence of Director Jayson Baello, Director JR Garcia, Director Froilan Buendia, and Rotarian Jaime Rioflorido, whose contributions added depth to the celebration. The Rotary Club of New Manila East thanks Pugad Lawin High School for its partnership. Through “A Smart Way to Learn,” Rotary continues to Create Lasting Impact by empowering students and building brighter opportunities for future generations. Rotary Club of New Manila East
